The EVO S4 is the 45 mm wheel in the Farsports EVO S Series — the lightest wheel Farsports builds. It comes with steel bearings or on CeramicSpeed, and carries a 120 kg rider weight limit.
- Rim — 45 mm deep, 31.5 mm external and 24 mm internal, hooked and tubeless-ready
- Spokes — Farsports carbon, 18 front and 18 rear, 2:1 lacing
- Hubs — Farsports SH01F / SH01R ratchet, Center Lock, steel or CeramicSpeed bearings
- Weight — 1150 g the pair on CeramicSpeed
- Rider weight limit — 120 kg
- Axle — 12×100 mm front, 12×142 mm rear thru axle
- Freehub — Shimano HG 11/12-speed or SRAM XDR
If 120 kg is too low for you, the S4 has no limit at all, and the C4 runs steel spokes for less. Full side by side: C, S and EVO compared.
Working it out? Our guides cover choosing between 45, 50 and 58 mm, what a 120 kg rider weight limit actually means, and whether your bike takes an HG or XDR freehub.
