We stand by the products we sell. If you run into a problem, contact us directly at info@rcvelo.ca. You do not need to deal with the manufacturer yourself.

Free replacement

Within 3 months of delivery date, if a wheelset or one of its supplied components fails under normal use on its own, and not because of a crash or misuse, we will replace the affected item, component or part free of charge to you. We will file the claim with the manufacturer on your behalf and handle the replacement process.

What RC Vélo covers for you

The free replacement offer applies to failures during normal use, not damage caused by a crash, misuse, incorrect installation, unauthorized modification, or use contrary to the supplied instructions. We will file the claim with the manufacturer on your behalf and handle the replacement process.

These offers by RC Vélo are benefits in addition to rights and recourses under applicable law. None of the above shall end or limit or reduce any legal warranty required by law.

How to make a claim

Email info@rcvelo.ca with your order number, the wheelset model, photographs of the problem and any serial or batch number. Tell us when the issue came up and what happened. We may ask for additional details or arrange for an inspection before confirming a replacement. Do not ship or dispose of the wheel without our instructions, otherwise we will not be able to honour the offers above.

If you suspect a wheel may be unsafe, stop using it immediately. We will assess the claim and a member of our team will explain the next steps. If the same model is unavailable as replacement, we will discuss with you for an appropriate alternative.

FOR QUEBEC CONSUMERS ONLY

For products sold to Quebec consumers that may require maintenance, RC Vélo discloses the following availability commitments under section 39 of the Consumer Protection Act:

  • Replacement parts: partially available
  • Repair services: unavailable
  • Information needed for maintenance or repair: partially available
